Vital source books are stored as one of 4 formats, Picturebook, pdfbook, epubbook, and vital book. I know of tools to extract pdfbooks and epubbooks but can't get picture books cracked to extract the book and read without using the slow vital source bookshelf app.

Does anyone have any idea on how to strip the drm of .vbk books?
I have tried using a hex editor but did not get anywhere on either removing the DRM, viewing the file system inside (Some are just collections of images as a picture book), or changing the print limit from 2 pages to 3000).
Picture books have a bunch of images of the pages (Think like a picture of page 2 as a .jpg or .pdf) while vital books are xml formatted. Each app I have used couldn't read them when I tried to take a peak at how it worked to extract the contents.
