Tried to upgrade from Wimdows 7 Starter to Home Premium 32 bit by coying disc to USB Stick. Upgrade failed but was offered option to intsall alternative version of Windows 7 which I did. Seemed to upgrade ok but unable to connect to internet. Computer Properties now shows Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit OS.

Have also lost all my other software including HP stuff although C drive shows 245GB free from 282GB, D drive shows 1.73GB free from 15.6GB and E drive shows 87.4 free from 99.0GB so there must be something there, is there any way of recovering?

Most important issue is drivers. Hardware IDs:

Keen to stay with Windows 7 as my laptop & desktop run 7 too.
