American Horror Story is an American anthologyhorror television series created and produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk which premiered on October 5, 2011 on FX. Described as an anthology series, each season is conceived as a mostly self-contained miniseries, following a disparate set of characters and settings, and a storyline with its own 'beginning, middle, and end.'[1]
As of November 14, 2018, 94 episodes of American Horror Story have aired, concluding the eighth season. American Horror Story has been renewed for a ninth and tenth season,[2][3] the former entitled 1984,[4] which are set to premiere in 2019 and 2020 respectively.
